About the Role
We’re looking for someone who can help keep our appraisal office running smoothly from day to day. You will handle everything from scheduling and workflow to quality control and client communication. This role is perfect for someone who likes variety, takes ownership of their work, and understands the ins and outs of the ‘residential real estate world’.
- Coordinate appraisal orders, schedules, and report delivery.
- Keep billing, payments, and cash flow organized and on track.
- Be the main contact for clients, lenders, and AMCs keeping communication clear and professional.
- Manage office systems, tech tools, and data security.
- Work independently – Hybrid work schedule as you gain experience in the position.
- Review reports to make sure they’re accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Look for ways to make our processes faster and more efficient.
- Assist in managing the Marketing Plan for our business.
- Solid knowledge of appraisal standards and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. You multi-task and hit deadlines.
- Comfortable with numbers, billing, and basic bookkeeping.
- Great communicator, both in writing and on the phone.
- Tech-savvy — familiar with tools like Alamode, MLS, and Microsoft Office.
- Confident leading or mentoring others, even in a small team setting.
- Calm problem-solver who can think on their feet.
- Residential appraisal, real estate agency/brokerage, mortgage lending, title experience.
- Experience running or coordinating a small office.
- Data research and data entry experience.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy.
- Someone who takes initiative and follows through.
- Adaptable when priorities shift or things get busy.
- Friendly, professional, and easy to work with.
