Waukesha/Milwaukee IAT Chapter Heritage Hike
PARADISE SPRINGS NATURE TRAIL & GOTTEN CABIN
A horse track, a spring water bottling plant, a resort hotel, a trout pond...lots of history here!
Come join IAT volunteers for a leisurely stroll on this flat, asphalt-covered 1/2 mile trail that accommodates people with disabilities. We will also cross the road to visit and hear about the Gotten Cabin. The cabin was built by Henry Gotten, a German immigrant who came to a
America with his wife, Barbara, in 1845. The Gottens bought the land on which they constructed the log cabin about 1855.

Location
The parking lot is on county Hwy N, north of State Highway 59, just west of Eagle.
Please note: A daily or annual state park sticker is required on your vehicle, with self-registration available via cach or check.
