Nearly 90% of older adults want to age-in-place and maintain independence in their homes according to AARP. Shana Lebanowski, Injury Prevention Coordinator will provide a ome safety check list to reduce your risk of injuries due to falls that might cause traumatic brain injury, concussions and hip fractures.
The Western Lakes Fire Department will provide tips on agining in place and keeping your home safe and comfortable through simple modifications to avoid fire hazards.
