Protecting the Gift Reading Group/Safety Seminar

In response to the recent incident in Nixon Park, Lake Country Martial Arts will offer a free four week safety course in both an adult only and an adult/child format.  Adults will read and discuss Gavin de Becker's Protecting the Gift as well as learn simple, effective techniques for self and family defense.  Children ages 6-12 will learn personal safety and awareness skills as well as basic self defense techniques.  Parents, grand parents, care givers, baby sitters, and educators are urged to attend.  Everyone is welcome.  Classes will be held in the Family Resource Room at Lake Country Martial Arts, 350 Cottonwood Ave. Hartland.   Fpr an event flier you can post or forward, please visit  http://www.lakecountrymartialarts.com/id145.html.
