Halloween-Business Trick or Treat 2009

 

The 25th annual Hartland Business Trick or Treat will be held on Thursday, October 22nd from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  Costumed children through sixth grade are invited to join in the Halloween festivities. There are more than 60 businesses participating who will exhibit an official Halloween poster in their window.

 

Approximately 1300 children are expected to participate.  Children can pick up a Trick or Treat bag with goodies from participating sponsors at the Hartland Chamber of Commerce office at 116 W. Capitol Drive.  The number of bags is limited to 1000 so children are asked to bring their own bags as well.  Volunteers from the American Legion and VFW posts will be on hand to help distribute the bags.

 

The streets are open to traffic during the Trick or Treat so children are cautioned to cross only at designated areas.  Members of the Arrowhead High School Student Senate and DECA clubs, and volunteers from the Lake Country Rotary Club will assist police in helping the children across the streets.  Parents are asked to acoompany their children throughout the evening.
