About Us

Lake Country Playhouse & Academy is committed to engaging the community we serve through arts education and live theatre entertainment on our intimate stage in downtown Hartland. Located in the heart of downtown Hartland, The Playhouse is a cleverly converted Masonic Lodge that houses an 82-seat black box theatre, scenic, paint, and costume shops, and education facilities. Operated by the nonprofit organization, Lake Country Players Inc., Lake Country Playhouse & Academy strives to be the recognized home for theatre, and arts education, in Lake Country. Through the creation of an inclusive theatrical community, we promote the artistic and personal growth of our members, cultivate talent, and inspire life-long passion for the arts through a wide array of educational programming and live stage productions.
