The Waukesha/Milwaukee County IAT Chapter is excited to anounce the fourth season of weeknight hikes! These well-attended hikes will be on the last TUESDAY EVENING of each month, this season (April through September) We will try to catch a glimpse of the full moon, which coincides with our hikes, at the end of each month. No need to sign up, just show up!
We will hike the prairie portion of the Lapham Peak segment and connect to other park trails before returning. Let's see what interesting spring vegetation we can identify coming up in the prairie.
This is an easy/intermediate, up to 4 mile hike, on flat and rolling hill terrain. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and possible trail conditions. Bring water and a flashlight/headlamp, if conditions warrant. Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and cleaned up after. Please bring water for your dogs as well.
