Ice Age Trail Mid-week Hike
Join us for another Mid-Week hike. Meet at the Hwy K parking lot just North of Hwy Q, in Monches. We will carpool to the Emerald Drive parking lot and hike the Ice Age Trail back to Hwy K lot. Hopefully the Tamarack trees will still be smoky golden. Enjoy views of Loew Lake, a widening of the Oconomowoc River, as it flows throough marsh deposits. The Ice Age Trail weaves in and out of the woods, alongside meadows and atop a steep-sided esker. This hike will be about 4 miles.
