Start out the New Year with a volunteer led hike, in Lapham Peak State Forest. Meet at the Mike Forte shelter, by the Homestead Hollow parking lot. Watch for yellow IAT event sign. There will be several hike options of varying lengths. There is even a hike for the kiddos. Well behaved, leashed, dogs are allowed. Stay for some hot cocoa and treats inside the nearby shelter. There will also be a bonefire, so you can warm up afterwards.
This event is usually well attended. It is recommended to arrive early.
A State Park sticker or daily pass will be needed to enter the Park.
