Event Videographer and/or Photographer

JOB TITLE: Videographer and/or Photographer

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

High school diploma or GED certificate preferred. Must be 18 years or older. Previous professional experience as a videographer or photographer is not required, but interest in the fields are. Must provide links to your demo reel and/or portfolio for review alongside a resume. Must own or be willing to work with company cameras, lenses, flash and wireless microphones when required. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

ABILITIES REQUIRED

Must be a self-starter with ability to multitask while under deadline pressure. Strong attention to detail. Possess uniqueness and creativity when working on projects. Able to take projects from concept to completion. Knowledgeable with Canon, Sony and other HD cameras. Talking to others to convey information effectively. Ability to work on feet for duration of 8 or more hours. Must be able to cover a wedding solo while managing all gear. Must have reliable transportation and willingness to commute for work. Must have an approachable presence with good customer service skills and a professional appearance. Must have experience with professional editing software's. 

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Outside: This position encompasses the elements of each unique event. Working in a variety of weather conditions is a must. 

PAY AND SCHEDULE
Ability to work weekends is essential.

This is a part time seasonal position (April – November) with limited job opportunities December – March.

Wages will be paid in full upon culling completion and delivery of raw images for post-production editing. No compensation will be offered for a la carte payments on photo booth, backdrops, albums, digital or print images, etc. 

1 meal to be provided by the client for all scheduled wedding coverage. 

Hourly wages ($25-45 per hour) will be offered based on experience.
