DESCRIPTION:Powerful Tools for Cregivers\n\nDesigned specifically for family caregivers who care for elderly or special needs person\, this 6 week focused workshop emplowers caregivers to improve self care.  Caregivers will learn how to reduce stress\, improve communication\, set action plans and solve problems.  It offers solid information on hiring in homehelp\, dealing with financial concers\, overcoming depression making decisions\, and workng with memory impairment.  After completing this course many participants report that they were able to overcome the challenges that arise with care giving.\n\n\n\nProgram is hosted by Waukesha Aging & Disability Resource Center\,  If you are in need of respite care please call Trish Golden at 262-434-1248.\n\n\n\nRegistration is required and participants are only allowed to miss two classes as they classes build on each other.\n\nMonday's - 7 Weeks\n\nSeptember 9\, 16\, 23\, 30\n\nOctober 7\, 14\, 21\n\n9:30 to 11:20 a.m.
