SUMMARY:Our Quilting Workshop Jelly Roll Rug - Rectanglular
DESCRIPTION:We'll be learning how to make a rectangular jelly roll rug using the pattern "Jelly Roll Rug 2" by RJ Designs. Purchase of the pattern for $8.00 is a requirement for the class. We also have packages of 50yd 2.5 inch batting "on a roll" for purchase. Bring your favorite jelly roll or find a new favorite in our shop.\n\n\n\nCOURSE COST: $5\n\nCLASS SIZE: 6 MAX\n\nTIME: 2hr with time to work\n\n\n\nBring your own sewing machine or borrow one of our Bernette Chicago 7s for a small fee. \n\n\n\nSewing machine needs to be able to do a 5 mm wide zigzag and a sharp / jeans sewing needle is highly recommended. Large spool of thread also need as pattern calls for 1200 yards.\n\n\n\nInitial class will teach you how to prepare the jelly roll strips\, how to make the fabric and batting tubes\, how to organize the tubes and how to zigzag tubes together. Final step will teach you how to bind the ends of the rug.\n\n\n\nYou'll have access to an ironing board\, irons\, cutting tools and cutting boards.\n\n\n\nStop in before 6pm to purchase your pattern and materials.
