SUMMARY:Free Outdoor Concert - SYCAMORE BROTHERS
DESCRIPTION:SYCAMORE BROTHERS - Garrett Waite & Jeremy Reutebuch\n\nJuly 16\, 2021 at LAKE COUNTRY PLAYHOUSE \n221 East Capitol Drive\, Hartland\, WI\, 53029\n\nFREE EVENT | Donations appreciated\n\nPart of our Summer Nights Outdoor Concert Series - Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy music on the lawn prior to a Lake Country Playhouse summer Mainstage or PlayLab Reading (Tickets sold separately)\n\nABOUT THE MUSICIANS\n\nDoes feeling create sound\, or the other way around? Percussionist/vocalist Jeremy Reutebuch (ROY-de-buke) and guitarist/vocalist Garrett Waite explored the mystery of sound together in many forms over a period of seven years before finally creating the Sycamore Brothers. Their work filters jazz\, classical\, world\, and rock influences through the singer-songwriter idiom\, creating complex yet accessible music which explores the miracles of life\, death\, and the interval between. He also was recently awarded a Division Achievement Award by Berklee College of Music\, from which he graduated with honors. Jeremy won the She Lives Masterclass Composition Competition in Budapest (2019) and the DePaul Percussion Ensemble Composition Competition (2020). The duo will be playing locally throughout the summer\, and are currently working on recording an EP.
