Know Your Numbers: High Cholesterol
Heart disease is the number one killer of me and women in the United States. Each year, more than one million Americans have heart attacks and 1/2 million die from heart disease. The higher your cholesterol, the greater your risk for developing heart disease or having a heart attack. High cholesterol does not cause any symptoms, that's why it is important to know your numbers and take control.
Megan Reid, APNP with Aurora Medical Center Summits cardiology department will help you understand what cholesterol is and provide current management technques including nutrition, exercise and statins.
Registration is required by phoning: 888-863-5502 or contact Trish Golden at 262-434-1248
